Megaslam

After I ordered the basketball hoop, they delivered it to my house when I asked them to deliver it. It was installed and does everything that I expected it to do. I measured with a tape measure the height of the hoop relative to what the basketball says. The 10 feet height of the hoop is exactly correct. The rim has a soft touch so the ball doesn't bounce off and feels like a real inDoor hoop. Would recommend

We did our homework and a very pleased with our new hoop system. It is superior quality compared to the competitors. It is HEAVY DUTY, and we can't be any happier. We rented a materials lift to assist with the backboard instillation to avoid any injuries or mishaps. The parts were packaged well the instructions were good but we also took advantage of some great YouTube videos for some additional helpful hints. Digging the 4 ft hole and concrete work was a little harder than expected to do it correctly. I would recommend hiring someone to professionally install this if you are not 100% committed to doing it correctly. In retrospect, paying someone the going rate ($600 in our area) was probably a fair price. It's really high quality - I've been back to sporting goods stores where we considered purchasing and definitely think MegaSlam is the best!!

I purchased the Megaslam-72 after spending several weeks looking at other systems, comparing prices, and trying to determine the best unit for my family. I decided on MegaSlam mainly due to the quality of components that are used. This thing looks and feels like a professional system you would find in a gym or a park. I am so glad that I purchased this unit!

After installing this unit, I've come up with a list of pros and cons.

Pros:
1) High Quality
2) Professional Look & Feel
3) Sturdy
4) Heavy Duty
5) Excellent response from rim and backboard
6) Easy to adjust

Cons:
1) Heavy. This thing is a beast! Be sure to have multiple people around to help move the unit and unbox.
2) Installation. I found the install to be a little difficult. I didn't want to spend $350 for someone to install it so I dug the 20x20x48 hole myself and with some friends, we got it installed in about 90mins.

With all of this being said, if you are in the market for basketball system, don't bother looking at other systems. Save yourself the time and effort and buy a system from MegaSlam! You won't be disappointed!
