We love the light. It definitely lights up our court and we are able to play ball all night. The only negative is it plugs in and there is no switch to turn it on and off. Otherwise it’s a very powerful and solid light for our basketball court.

When we purchased our first Mega Slam system, we initially skipped the court light. That turned out to be a mistake because not long after, we went back and bought it, and it has been an absolute game changer. Our boys use the court constantly in the evenings to get extra shots up, and the light has dramatically increased the amount of time they can spend practicing and enjoying the game. The brightness is incredible, but what impressed me most is how well the light is focused on the court itself. It illuminates the playing area exceptionally well without spilling excessive light into neighboring properties or surrounding areas. The light does sit fairly high above the hoop, so you'll want to make sure you have the necessary clearance, but if your setup allows for it, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Like everything else we've experienced with Mega Slam, the quality is outstanding. The installer made the installation look incredibly easy, and for anyone who enjoys DIY projects, it appears to be a very manageable install as well. If you're already investing in a premium basketball system, don't make the same mistake we did by waiting on the light. It is worth every penny and completely transforms the experience of playing after sunset. Another home run from Mega Slam.

The light is bright and covers our whole court (30' x 50'). It was easy to install with 2 people. This is a must have if you have the Mega Slam hoop.
