We had very high expectations; this system exceeded those expectations
I traveled around to various cities in the south checking out Academy’s and Dick's “upper” tier basketball systems. Each one of them failed my rigidity tests. The basketball backboards that I tested where too thin (3/8-in) to cause the ball to properly rebound off the glass and goal compared to the systems my son practiced on at school. The shots made on the Mega Slam system have to be purer to go in…”less slop-ins” due to the rigidity. The base is made of much heavier steel; the glass is ½-in thick. The goal nor backboard waivers when making long range shots. I have never owned a basketball system of this quality. My 12 year old son and I installed it ourselves requiring help only when we lifted the backboard. I cannot say enough good things about the technical support that I received from Mega Slam. What a first class company. Placed the order about 10 days before Christmas and received it in three days with free shipping. If you are going to watch your kids and/or grandkids play basketball in your yard for the next 20 years, you will never be disappointed with a Mega Slam system. I'm sold!

Great Price
We shopped around and the only store that had anything comparable was a specialty retailer, but the price was $500 more expensive plus tax. Product arrived quickly. Once assembled we were very impressed with the quality of the ball response, minimal vibration, and my youngest that is 6 years old can lower this with no effort. The 1/2" tempered glass backboard is the gold standard to play on to replicate indoor gymnasiums. We are very pleased and recommend this product!

We are loving this hoop
We have a large family with 6 children ranging from 4-16. The new basketball hoop was the perfect investment to accommodate all of them. The younger kids love the fact that they can lower the rim so low and slam dunk too. In the evenings we get the entire family on the court and have a great time. We all very pleased with the quality of the product and the simplicity of the whole process. Thanks, and we look forward to many years on this hoop.
